Shopping carts take up a lot of real estate in my brain for several reasons. Right now, as I try to figure out how to make a living from our art - shopping carts play a big part.
Then there are the shopping carts I design in my head when I’m shopping for groceries. I keep thinking If we can go to Mars, surely we can improve upon the shopping cart. Why do I seem to get the one with a stuck wheel or the one that clunks on every wheel rotation?
For many years I’ve imagined how I might redesign the iconic shopping cart. I would look no further than modern baby stroller designs

Bright orange shopping carts are so cool. I think I’ll shine this one up and change the sign to say “Buy-a-lot”.
